Grazelands is committed to increasing biodiversity in nature reserves in the Netherlands and abroad. As far as we are concerned, the key lies with landscapes where we as humans no longer intervene with machines, but where wild grazers are at work as landscape architects, Grazelands! For over 30 years, we have been deploying large herds of cattle and horses for natural grazing in the Netherlands and Europe. They keep landscapes open and give space to new nature. They help boost biodiversity and play an important role in the fight against water or fire.
Grazelands offers you and your company the opportunity to actively contribute to a sustainable living environment with greater biodiversity. Not to make a profit, but to make a difference together!
We are a foundation with ANBI status, meaning donations or investments in Grazelands are tax-deductible. This allows you to meet your own sustainability goals while contributing to one of the most important Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, we are looking for partners who want to join us in building Grazelands. This can involve creating more habitats for our Tauros cattle, or collaborating in areas such as education or eco-tourism. There are four packages available to support us:
Grazelands is the first in the Netherlands to launch a participation program for building Tauros herds in the Netherlands and other European countries. Through Tauros tokens, we are introducing impact shares to the market in collaboration with Credit Nature. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference together in the areas of biodiversity and rewilding! Additionally, we are happy to explore ways to support your organization’s sustainability goals through tailored communication or experience-based activities.

Grazelands is developing rapidly. In the coming years, we want to grow in length and breadth. To really make a difference, we need larger herds, more habitats for the animals and money for research and providing education, training and information. Our dream is a Grazelands Rewilding Centre in Keent. As far as we are concerned, this will be the place where we welcome adults and children, as well as entrepreneurs, policymakers and other professionals. We let them feel, smell and taste why we should take care of our nature and explain the role large grazers play in it. We do this with excursions, workshops, presentations, training courses or customised arrangements.
